Indexer classes not found ?

Hi,

Under dbsight 4, while indexing we get a ton of errors about classes not found:

net.javacoding.xsearch.indexer.filter.file.TextFilter

Indeed the class does not exists in the jars (or has been obuscated). Of course nothing gets indexed .
Am I missing something ?

Sorry, it's an error due to obfuscation change

Please use http://www.dbsight.net/download/dbsight.jar for now until next release on Feb 20th, 2012, to replace the same file under WEB-INF/lib/dbsight.jar

Indeed, As a quickfix I reimplemented our own parsers using the aperture toolkit just like we did with dbsight 1.x. I just had to dig for the zip filter obfuscated file name :)
FYI the problem was already in 3.x in 2010 at least. Seems few people do use filters.

Have the builtin parser themselves evolved a lot since 1.x ?

I think the parser evolves after several years. But we don't really actively check each parser's evolution.

But I think users are more interested in PDF, PPT, Excel, Word files. And we will look into them again in the coming weeks.
